The pollen sample is retrieved and analyzed each weekday morning during pollen season, at the Hagerstown office. The level reported comes from a 24 hour sample ending at 7:30 AM. Historical records date back to 1988.

Pollen counts are also available at WJEJ 1240 AM every half hour on weekday mornings.
