The FDA recently approved oral, sublingual immunotherapy for patients with grass pollen allergy. This form of immunotherapy is useful only when a person is sensitive to grass pollen alone. Patients with multiple allergies are not good candidates for this form of treatment. Sublingual immunotherapy should only be performed with FDA approved extract. Please consult a board certified allergist.
